only another 5MPH and they'll beat the world record for an unpowered
model glider...

2 wheels isn't the only thing that makes it a bike ! To me it seems
weird something where you're completely enclosed is called a bike. Even
so that's faster than last nights curry..

"The team used a Suzuki Motor Corp. Hyabusa model as the base for its
record-setting motorcycle."

If I remember correctly, the Ack Attack has  pair of highly modified
Hayabusa engines sharing one huge turbocharger between them, and rolls
on car tyres (special land speed record attempt tyres, but flat across
the treads, not curved like a "motorcycle" tyre)

There's not much Hayabusa left there:

big (it's _seriously fast_ tho!)

Yea, just imagine G-S doing 360MPH in his outfit, and... there
you have it!

GB, the mind boggles!

My friend Steve is an atheist. He has a bumper sticker that reads "Honk

Somehow I suspect the top speed is more like 180 kph :-) [1]

There are some scary outfit motorbike top speed runs in the record books
though!

G-S

[1] I haven't even been that fast in it but the gearing would suggest
that if it pulled close to redline in top it would get there.  It might
have too much wind resistence though... not exactly aerodynamic.

Dunno about that, just a little elevation and all is sweet. Might be
pretty hard to stay in your lane while cornering, but.

Yeah - that's a motorbike I'd like to play with. Or the original
