Does anybody get FX in High Def?

Not bad, but I was hoping to see more shots of bikes.

I yelled at the TV when the opening scenes had the main character (vp of
the club) riding down the road without so much as a pair of sunglasses.
Dirty look from my wife so I stopped. Later on he was riding at various
times with/without them.

Sometimes they wore helmets, sometimes they didn't. Set in California
bay area so they are required.

Apparently Lodi has a large meth trade for the truckers. Something my
town can be proud of, we made it on TV.

San Leandro cops don't respond to reports of automatic weapon fire.

Don't know why the prez of the club hasn't gotten rid of the VP of the
club when he obviously has no heart for what the club is based on. Must
be cuz he's bagging his mother.

We'll see how long this one lasts. I was surprised to see ads for The
Shield, I thought that show had been canceled.

Yep......DirecTV

> Not bad, but I was hoping to see more shots of bikes.

I wasn't expecting Drea de Matteo to be cast as a worn out crack whore.....and I
don't know what to think about Peg Bundy being cast as an older biker "mama"
<sfsf>.....

Just remember......he played Hellboy and The Beast (Beauty and the
Beast)......that'll put him in the right place for this role.

I saw guys from Braveheart (FREEDOM!!!!!!!) and a couple other shows.

That prospect guy is a retard, he wouldn't last 5 minutes in the cub scouts, how
the hell does he stay in a 1% club?????

It may last just fine as a vicarious thrill for riders who aren't part of that
culture IRL.

She's had a rough go in real life. I think she did pretty well in this
show, you can tell she's got a hand in how that club is run. I like how
she handled the crack whore in the hospital room.

It'll last for at least a season, 'cause I don't think the cable
networks cancel stuff like the big 5 networks do. And, I gotta admit,
standing on the sidelines, all safe at home, mindin' my own bidness,
watching a TV show about 1%'ers is as entertaining as anything else on
the toob.

And, I must be gettin' old, because peggy bundy bent over once while
cleaning the son's apt., and I thought for a fleeting moment she
looked kinda good for an old gal.

Beats "reality" shows about fat f.cks losing weight, dumb f.cks locked in a
house together, lame f.cks stranded on desert islands together....

What I saw last night was kinda good.......typical story, conflict with
outsiders, conflict with insiders, internal conflict in their own minds. Action,
machineguns, motorcycles, men and women with tattoos, drugs, beer, shooting
pool.....

What's not to like??

i didnt watch this program the first time through but caught a repeat
tonight on FX.  now im sure some of you probably sat around jerking off
while watching this program, pretending to relate but heres what i found in
the program.

the glorification of at least a dozen felonies (including but not limited to
murder, drug dealing, drug abuse, illegal gun trafficking, assault/battery,
illegal weapons carry, conspiracy, arson, incindiary devices, and much
more!) is EXACTLY what is wrong with our children today.  you glorify
criminal activity and your children learn to as well through the example you
set.  in doing so you set them up for failure, prison, and a life of doing
without for never having reached their full potential.

trutht isnt always pretty....keep this in mind while youre watching this
program next week, making excuses for why you couldnt cut it as an outlaw
biker like the "1% ers" you worship.

Since you don't quote anyone I can only conclude that you intend these
childish, poorly thought out insults for all the patrons of the VB&G.
For the last several weeks I've watched you post irrelevant, off topic,
single issue crap that has little or nothing to do with motorcycles.  You have
an obsession with guns, & as long as you're responsible & safe I have no problem
with that.  Your insults to people that choose a different way are childish &
tend to make your obsession with guns appear as a cry for attention & an attempt
to prop up a weak self image.  Personally I respect those that are secure enough
that they don't need to run around screaming "I HAVE A GUN!"
Now you accuse people you don't know of "jerking off", not being able to
"cut it as an outlaw biker", & "worshiping 1%ers".  All over a Hollywood piece
of crap.  Tells me two things, you're a lot further from reality than I gave you
credit for, & I waited too long to kill file you.  I'm correcting one of those
right now..................<plunk>

i clearly stated "some of you".  not "most" of you, or even "many" of you.
i stated SOME of you.

>Your insults to people that choose a different way

"a different way"?  we arent talking about choosing "a different way".
we're talking about MURDER, DRUG TRAFFICKING, ILLEGAL FIREARMS TRAFFICKING,
etc.  thats NOT a simple alternative choice.

....being an outlaw biker doesnt make you "cool".  it just makes you a thug
criminal no better than the common petty street gang.  a sorry low-life that
cannot cut it in the real world.  why anyone would want to associate with
this image baffles me.

on second thought, no it doesnt.  some ride for the freedom it brings, and
some ride for the IMAGE it brings.  if this is the image youre after you
sure found your show.

You are not a non-conformist. You, sir, are just a pain-in-the-a.s

You conform perfectly well with the sterotypical gun-toting

changing as much but I think she's going through a growth spurt now
because she's putting away kitten chow by the box full. I'll try to
update the page on Friday...

So don't post look how she's grown pictures.  Post look at the adorable
thing she did now pictures.  Problem solved!

And just what animal does that *not* resemble?  I know that each of ours
will totally piss me off, then the next moment do something that makes
you go awwwwww.  'specially Tico.  He'll coo, and lay his little head on
me... Makes my heart completely melt.

Rosie, still use your picture of him as a desktop every so often...

She was especially adorable at 3:15 this morning when I woke up with her
standing on my face. LOL I shouldn't have any trouble getting pics of
her doing cute stuff. Which is usually "don't do that" stuff.

Well, it goes without saying that Tico can get away with stuff because

you see george, you wouldnt know any better because you geriatric alchi's

specifically, it is meant as a collective statement for all who hang out in

bitch-fits any time a newbie doesnt want to pretend to play with you in a

FWIW, I've had that experience. I lost about 2 hours there once when I
drank out of a mason jar with some clear liquid in it. The photos I took

I have the look on his face right here! (did he pass you a bottle
before or after that comment <g>

here's another

Me, SherrillT, Vicki n Karen are trying to check into a hotel on our
way home from bike week

Our ladies are inside trying to check in, Me n Sherrill sittin on a
bench waiting,
We had parked our bikes in front of the sidewalk, why?
because this couple had decided to take up the only 4 parking places
left with their truck with official HD decal on tailgate and a NC tag
with HARLEY on it,  and trailer with the HUGE HD logo on the back,
and cone off the section behind the trailer so no one blocked their
bikes in the trailer. (we parked behind that mess)

that same couple are walkin past and have to walk around our bikes.

He says to his ol lady,  damn bikers will park anywhere - half kidding
about our bikes blocking the sidewalk -

his ol lady says to him just loud enough for me to hear -

"They ain't real bikers", (we were on the 4 BMW's)

I jump and said, your right!,  we ain't got a fuckin trailer!

I thought SherrillT was going to have a stroke laughin so hard, as he
reaches in his pocket and hands me the last
Silly yuppie, Trailers are for boats decal

yes it went on his purty Harley Davidson Trailer! from N.Carolina (we
were in Savanna

ya had to be there for that one too, I can still hear SHerrillT
laughin!

I was nominated, and had my acceptance speech prepared, but lost out

I was sure he was, & I see he's changed his header to get around the
kill file.  No problem, I'm pretty quick at keepin' up with header changes & if
I tire of that I'll just ignore him.  Not like I'm missin' anything......<shrug>

dont flatter yourself.  i work from many different computers.  if you REALLY
want to block me, do it by IP address.  otherwise youre just reaching out
for attention by making your kill-file public knowledge.  sort of a pathetic
attempt at seeking group support.  :-)

But the drink Rand offered looked like exactly what you could use.

Rand is in Michigan, I'm in California, yet we've ridden together.
Consider that while you diss the "imaginary bar" you idiotic putz.

Here's a thought for you: The folks here meet IRL and ride together. Why
don't you try that with some folks from your gun newsgroups: Meet IRL
and shoot each other.
