Hello I am 6'3" and I own a vfr800. So far it seems a very comfortable
bike. Does anyone know how does it compare to the vtr1000f? Is vtr
less comfortable for a tall person? Does it have more power? I believe
the rc51 is also known as vtr1000, so the vtr1000f must be the sport
touring model right?

I don't know about the more recent models, but 3 or 4 years ago
the VFR and VTR were miles apart on ergonomics and performance.
The VTR is significantly more sport oriented, had a much further
forward
riding position, a much less "refined" powerplant, and nowhere near
the ride comfort of the VFR. I'm 6', and found that for city riding,
the
VTR was borderline uncomfortable. A set of bar risers may help,
but those bikes are very different animals. Really really fun bike to
ride though...

The RC51 and the Superhawk (VTR1000) are completely different bikes in
N.America.

thanks for the replies. i take vtr1000 superhawk is not as
confortable as the vfr. But i think that some might be confusing the
vtr1000 with the rvt1000.

My comments were about the Superhawk, and still stand.
