OK, if you are a little anal about protecting your ride, this one is
for you.

Hmmm considering it includes a drip tray I wonder what brand of bike
the designers had in mind?

You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck

Be interesting to see what the actual packed size was.  I see it is a rather
heavy 25 lb. job.  Looks like two duffels on the H-D.

I carry two tarps when camping, one under the tent, and one to keep rain off
people. The bike can get wet, it's a Honda.

MACKY BOY,
IF 25LBS IS TO HEAVY FOR YOU... GET A HOTEL, IT DOESN'T WEIGHT ANYTHING.  I

don't think that for the size and comfort 25 lbs is not bad at all. I have
seen people carry a

third car garage on their bikes or their bitc??? that weight as much as a 3rd
car garage.......... and I don't see them complaining.....

I'll bet it has a few problems in the wind.

Here's my favorite bike tent: http://tinyurl.com/6rafp

I can fit this tent, a sleeping bag and rain pants in one saddlebag
of my Electra-Glide.

Stevie boy,
Biker Tent was tested at 85 miles per hour, in Colorado, and it past with
flying colors....  If you are worried more than 85 miles wind.... Are you sky
diving or camping??????? Any more than that is considered Hurricane winds....

And only $399 too. I guess since it says "Biker" it's got to
be worth it for image alone.

Hey Rob,
the guy who invented the tent, chose that name because he is a biker, not a
surfer.... $399.00 is reasonable,  considering the price on a tent that is
made specifically for that purpose.
