The official PR finally went out http://www.elmundodeportivo.es/web/gen/20080916/noticia_53538993452.html

Now of course it'll be Ducati's job to conspire to hold Hayden
back :-)

Good luck to Hayden, that second Ducati spot looked rough this year,
and I doubt Melandri has totally forgotten how to ride a bike.

Dovi in the lead as Pedrosa's room-mate over in HRC.

No, I doubt that's what he's saying...

I note this subtle comment today at the Ducati dealers show today:
"Everyone knows I was with Honda a long time and the company was
really good to me, especially on the U.S. side. But it's time to make
a change." Translation: US supported me, Japan was ambivalent at best,
and Honda Europe solidly backed their midget...

Will be interesting to see if Dovi ends up on Bridgestones next year,
assuming tires remain competitive. I wouldn't be surprised to see
Repsol go Bridgestone and Gresini end up running Michelins as a
compromise.

Of course there will always be a wall anyway, Puig will make sure of
that...

Only you could turn this (above) into:

>Translation: US supported me, Japan was ambivalent at best,
>and Honda Europe solidly backed their midget...

...this.
