Not to be on topic or anything, but what suggestions would you offer if
someone wanted to do the following...
a charity event is collecting donation based on how many laps/miles a person
rides during a given week at a road course. The people riding have 9 riding
hours during the day to ride as much or as little as they want. The rules
for the bike are the usual trackday type stuff, with the only change for my
bikes being water only in the radiator.
The people ride as much or as little as they want, collect the pledges and
hand them over after the whole thing is done.
Several awards are handed out, most money collected, iron man award for each
day plus for the entire event, etc etc.
So....how would you prepare for something like this and what would be
different from a regular trackday. Assume as much riding as possible in 9
hours, on a track, at less than full speed. The bikes are the gixxer 750 or
the sv650.

yup...something real similar only there aren't 20 minute groups....you can
go as long and as hard as you want down here in the unrestricted non
socialist "gee we don't have to count votes 6 times to make SURE the
democrats get elected" state.
You going to this thing at your end Andrew?

Yeah there are Free For All trackdays here, though not for charity.
Usually there a quite a few wrecks, and some hospital visits though, you
could consider that charity. I'm sure the racers after cheap parts do.
Enumclaw Suz puts one one. You go at your pace, at your time. The
track is always open but during lunch.
I won't attend FFA trackdays.
I did just sign up for the Seattle 100 and their May 18th Trackday, today.

Yeah, Bannon has run it two years in a row. I figure it is my turn to
help out and raise some money. You should head over to Seattle for
this. Thats a lot of laps.

Before bedtime, toss a 40 oz of da Bull. Be sure to focus on yer abs as
you isometrically squeeze each ounce into the stomach cavity. Tomorrow,
buy yourself a gel a.s pad and some asprin then go riding.
BTW, I'm glad to hear you're participating in something that helps
others. As long as the "others" aren't jackbooted Nazis for GW, then I
say good on ya.

I'm thinking about it.
