I could have sworn I was watching race 2, but I also watched the SBK races and the SuperSport AMA race, so I guess I was confused. I knew he missed the second race, but didn't know it was so serious. I thought this was interesting tho' from 1st link above : Pridmore highsided coming out of the final corner during the Sunday-morning Superstock practice session at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, suffering concussion symptoms and abdominal pains. from second link: "It was just a pretty standard crash, what they call a lowside," Abbott said. "The front wheel apparently tucked underneath and he went straight down. But it was nothing extraordinary, and it wasn't high-speed, he just ended up with extraordinary injuries from a very simple crash." Which was it highside or lowside? Speaking of crashes how about Nuekirchner's crash in WSB ? That was scary. I can't believe how high/far he flew, and the Mug almost saved it from being taken in with him - hung on bronco style with flying legs, then muddles thru way deep into gravel and almost makes it back out, only to lose it about 15' from the edge - bummer. |
