Ya know Bob, it's not fair wearing a mesh jacket, when those of us in
the midwest are riding in high 30s to low 40s in the morning... :)

Quit yer whining and get out and ride! I just got back from a short, 50 mile
run. Balmy 38F right now!

I ain't whining, 200+ miles, high 50s at 9500 ft, opening day of deer
season, not a deer in sight. Those "hunters" parked for miles along the
side of the road scared them all away.

I whine, but I still ride. Didn't ride to work this morning. 36 degrees
and rain isn't fun enough. And the wet leaves on the ground suck.

I went for a run yesterday, never got above 40F, no sun, heavy cloud cover.
It was not to bad 'till I hit rain! The fun sort of tapered off after that!

The Ford is still in the shop, so I'm still stuck riding in the cold
rain. I have to admit, the Diablo tires stick pretty well even in the
cold/wet.

I rode the past two days in upper 30s and pouring rain. Made it through
dry on both stints. Gerbing stuff came in the mail today. I'm set for
winter now!

I know! It's our time now though. BTW, we split up after breakfast and
these guys took the dirt roads over the big mountain.
--------------------from local list----------------->
I only got one picture, too, Bob. Good ride this morning with the new
(maybe) Dual-Sporter in the group, Andrew! After our TTF/4 Peaks ride
today he may be ready to join us. He rode very well for the first
time, even getting his foot out there in the corners. Following Mike
can make you a better off-roader, if you can keep up with him long
enough to learn from him. Today he went at a rather sedate pace with
Andy following him. After 3 or 4 hours in the saddle, I think Andy was
ready to get back on the barcalounger seat of his Beemer and head
home!

Big mountain.
Not to rub anyone's nose in our weather, rather to keep at least some
On-Topic posts going though the winter -:)
