A friend got one of these down in Tenn this weekend. Really great maps
with biker roads highlighted and descriptions of what to expect
(scenic, twisty etc). Far more accurate and detailed than my ~5 year
old AAA of Tenn. The maps are waterproof, easier to fold than the avg
paper map and tear resistant. Also, lists of hotels and restaurants.
Looks like they are only currently available for Smokey mountains and
California. At $9 they are a little pricey, but a damn site cheaper
than a GPS.
Supposedly, it's a business started by a biker chick. You go girl. Get
me Canada, quick!
