Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" DVD came in the mail today.

Noteworthy here in the centre of North America - it was a great day to ride.
The temp was +11 C this aft (+52 F). Unprecedented in my life time for end
of November in Winterpeg. The normal high for today is -5 C or 23 F. Just
the odd patch of snow. Could not see my breath, I wasn't at all cold.

Kinda strange riding conditions too - rather spring like. The frost was
coming out of the ground so the dirt was squishy and the shadows really
long. Couldn't see into the deep ruts and holes. Sun very bright.

Hot summers and mild winters with some freakish days here and there. Could
Al be right about global warming? I think he must be a smart guy. Didn't he
invent the internet?

Note the BrianUT

The KLR is great fun but its no sport bike. Keep the Honda and get a cheap
used dual sport for exploring.

Yes! He did!!

Global warming has arrived, just ask Greenland. Don't buy oceanside real
estate.

At the moment there are icebergs floating up the east coast of the South
Is. about 80km (50mi.) offshore.......helicopter rides to land on them
have been a big hit with the tourists with one couple wanting to get
married on one, but that was boo-hooed because of the unstable nature of
the 'bergs. More are on their way. Apparently, the ice is a couple of
thousand years old and goes well with whiskey!

Hell, rent a boat, tow the biggest sucker ashore, and sell it! That much
pure fresh water is worth a *bunch* of money!

Well, you can be assured that the ice is going to be a lot less polluted
than anything that froze in recent times. But make sure to drink the whisky
before the ice melts. Watering good whisky is a sin, you know.

Well he never claimed that he invented the internet but:

might clarify what he did do.
