Just got back from a 2000 mile trip on my new to me '95 Concours. What a
great bike! I've seen people bashing the stock seat, but I found it to
be quite comfortable. The handling was very good, the mileage was not
quite as good as I'm used to (BMW R100RS and PC 800) but I did get one
tank in at close to 50 mpg. Average was closer to 40 mpg. Must have
something to do with having about twice the HP as my other bikes. I have
posted pictures on my Yahoo Photo site linked below.

But you forget to post the link.
A guy that I talked to said that his Connie put out so much heat from the
radiator, it was uncomfortable to ride in Southern California in the
summertime...

I loved turning the airwings in during the winter. It blew wonderfully warm
in the Seattle winter mist.
That bike was the only one I've ever owned that truly enveloped me from the
elements. There's good and bad to that. :-)

The link is in my sigline Krusty. Yes, she does tend to keep you warm. A
lot of guys remove the fairing lowers in the summer.

Oh. My bad. I see now that MotorcycleKB.com trims the long signatures off the
bottom of messages but leaves me the option of pushing a "button" to see
signatures.
MotorcycleKB is a lot faster finding new messages and I see what I have
posted immediately, but Google Groups may take hours or even a day to show
messages.

Enjoy the pictures! There are albums from a bunch of trips in there.

I've never ridden an original Concours but everyone seems too love
them except for the buzzy engine on long trips. Was that a problem for
you at all?
