I had to take the F4i to shop today. The 4k rpm problems had become unbearable. So here it is a long weekend, perfect weather and some of the best canyons have been opened for the season and I have no bike. So to keep the battery charged (ahem) I would occasionally take it out to the hills instead of riding my VFR800. Having to stir that gearbox around to remain in the heart of the power-band, and learning how to enter corners at absolute top speed and on the perfect line -because there's simply no power with which to paint over your mistakes- is *wonderful* training for bigger bikes.
