I know how much you guys love Deer - I saw this video and thought of
you. Don't know if it's real or not, but it's the thought that
counts.

Still riding dirt, still loving it. Don't really want a street bike
again, but I saw a nice SV650 on the road today and at least gave it a
thought.

Is that for real? It looks to me like someone composited in footage of
a running/flying deer. Especially since the race car isn't a bit
fazed, and shows no marks after the "impact".

Last season in Champ Car, Cristiano DaMatta hit a deer at full tilt boogie
during a testing session at Road America.

DON'T tell me that... I've got a track day in a little over a week at
Road America.

We did have a wild turkey wander on to the track during one of our track
days at Blackhawk Farms.

I guess there's something to be said for Willow Springs after all: the high
desert supports few if any deer, and the only things I've ever seen on the
track there are the occasional cotton-tail, a few tumbleweeds, and one, very
flat, rattlesnake.
