How about stopping 85,000 lbs in 267ft.

Unassisted, no arresting hook!

Meaning it would be easy to land one on the 264 yard-long flight deck of a
Nimitz-Class aircraft carrier....... always provided that you didn't scrape
the C-130's right wingtip off on the carrier's island, that is.

Getting it back in the air might be a problem, though.

No problem at all! They made many landings and takeoffs in the test
series. C-130s are more than capable of COD duties, but the Navy decided
that it was not needed.

I saw that in person in Oshkosh this year (along with F-22 Raptor). The
way this thing stops, starts and turns is just amazingly freaking.

"The aircraft can carry 170,000 pounds of cargo (+its 280K) . It can
deliver its payload on unimproved fields, landing in a distance of only
1500 feet and stopping in four seconds."

The Hercules is probably my all time favorite aircraft.  About the only thing
they don't have it doing is high altitude recon.
