He could be lynching a w.nking party.

Actually, it's the RD400 with FS1E engine that must be running around
that distresses me more

FMOB.  I must say, I'm impressed by the rear brake pedal arrangement - not
much need for braided hoses there...

Just looking at the corrosion on the barrels, doesn't look to have been run
for a while, probably frightened the sh.t out of him. Looks interesting
though.

The seller deserves lynching purely because of his appalling spelling...

to the untutored eye it don't look that much different to an RD400...  mind,
that's partly the wheels.  I think fizzies had rather skinnier rubber than
that.

Any idea what he means by "i must just say that if you intend to by this
bike you must make shaw tha is road legal ??" Surely the MOT shows that
it's road legal?

As an aside, as the bloke says in the ad that the reserve is £1500, why
are people bidding less? Hoping for a second chance offer, I guess.

Small point; "tha is road legal" might just be a northern
thing, probably Yorkshire.

A bastardisation of 'thou art'.
Aw f.ck it, it's too late for this...

This sort of thing was done many years ago by an old mate of mine called
Mark Roache - he put an H1 500 Kawasaki engine in a Honda SS50 frame. He
got 500 yards into the ride to the MOT station before pushing it home
and dismantling it. Later on in life he put his retired TZ350 race bike
on the road and used it as a commuter.

SS50/H1 mix ..... jeepers. Proof that care in the community is not a viable
option :)

Now a TZ350 commuter ... after the SSH1 I guess it was almost tame!

In the 1970s, Bike ran a feature on two loopy brothers called Lerego
with a road legal TZ350.

Why did I read that as an anagram of Ogri?

That's nothing. Superbike magazine had a feature on a road legal TZ750.
Both would be good exercise bikes. You get a lot of exercise pushing
them up and down the road trying to start them.

That was in either late '81 or early '82. I remember it because a mate
of mine had just bought a TZ750 race bike.
