I just spoke to my mate Peeb, and his early one didn't (this was back
in 1978), but he *thinks* the later ones did.

Cheers Champ, guess we'll wait until Tog sticks his head over the
parapet to give us chapter & verse.

The first model twin, the 16bhp T and T2 (similar tank to the CB100
were kickstart, the later mini Superdream (silver or red from about
1984) had the electric starter.

Cheers Andy, I'll pass that on.

Thinking more, the later one with the electric start and 12v electrics
is the CB125TDC, there was also a custom CM version, built from maybe
1982.

Depends which 125 twins. The early CB92 twins were, yes. The 1970s/1980s
CB12xT (unrestructed versions, using a tuned Benly engine) did nothave
an electric start. The later CB125T Super Dream (detuned version of
above, with monoshock rear end) did.

We're talking early 70s onwards here so I doubt that the CB92 figured.

OK, in which case there was a 125 twin that looked like a sleeved down
CB175 (because it was). Very. very rare here, but reasonably common on
the Continent. The final models looked like sleeved down CB200s (because
they were).
Yes, electric start.
