I'm quite sure that I didn't read it on the interweb but I seem to have a recollection of hearing that if it weren't for the unexploded ordinance and wonky bullets and stuff the filthy Hun would have won both world wars in under three years. In a way though it's a pretty good piece of work - it managed to crash-land with sufficient violence to bury itself, then had at least two buildings thrown up and torn down over it (they're demolishing an eighties light-industrial unit in which quite a few of my mates have worked).
