I see a few race bikes advertised as "Track only no V5" like this one

true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:uk

What's the scoop?

I am guessing perhaps they were taken straight from the crate so no vehicle
taxes were ever paid?

Nothing in particular to stop a person from building a "hybrid" using a
trashed frame from a breaker that does have a V5 perhaps.

Danny's ZX10R racebike has never been registered and has no V5.
