Wicked Uncle Nigel - 05 Aug 2007 22:45 GMT T plate 1100 Pan. 50th Anniversary Limited Edition, in a fetching shade of gold.
ABS and TCS (see below).
105,000 miles.
Baglux tank cover.
Honda colour matched top-box to go with the panniers.
Corbin saddle. Sit on it all day, you won't get piles.
Cosmetically challenged, and the ABS is currently faulting. Last time that happened cleaning the battery terminals cured it. I have tried that and it didn't change things. Assume dodgy sensor (about £100 from David Silver).
It's got a genuine Honda right silencer and a Motad left one.
It's also got an amazingly full service history from it previous owner, including cambelt at 60,000 miles. I've done oil and filters, and fitted a new rear ABS sensor and a new clutch.
1 year's MOT (mid August 2008) and taxed to end of November.
Currently sporting a towbar, but I plan to remove that and flog it separately, unless you haggle.
Basically scruffy but sound Pan.
Located in North Herts, near Hitchin. Delivery by arrangement.
£1100 to a UKRMer.

Condition of sale, and all that.
Possibly.

S OK, little permanent damge. Overhang mirrors, that's what you need - or kneecap-mounted cameras, that's more your line.

Damn ..... spose I'll have to find another use for these "oopskirt 2000 pro" toecap mounted mirrors then.

This is the one I may have for sale but it now has straight forks and looks marginally less sh.t: http://sweller.dynalias.org/images/swb-rhs.jpg

I [1] also have a CX650 Eurosport. http://sweller.dynalias.org/images/CX650-1.jpg http://sweller.dynalias.org/images/CX650-2.jpg
Gear change seal weeps and it needs a brush plate for the starter motor before winter comes (starts ok ATM, just a bit lethargic). I can organise slightly less sh.t photos.
Not sure of its value - TOG?
[1] It's actually a friend's but it lives in my lockup and is for sale.

The Older Gentleman - 07 Aug 2007 07:17 GMT > Not sure of its value - TOG? Blimey. It's a bit challenged, although it's all there and the 650 is quite sought-after.
A lot depends on how it runs. A *hell of a lot* depends on whether the drive shaft tunnel is badly corroded, which has put more old CXs off the road than White Van Man. They rust through from the inside: bad news.
Assuming it runs well and the shaft tunnel is OK, then it looks like it could be made road-legal for not much cash. So £300-400 depending on state of tyres, brakes, etc.

Cheap - like it says on the tin, let me know roughly what your looking for when you've sorted some piccies out.

I'm sorry, but I still really like CX Eurosports.
They handle for sh.t, but they flick really swiftly from side to side, and the wobble never gets terminal so long as you keep the throttle pinned; lift and you die.
Oh, and if it rains you fall off. No exceptions :)
But as a cheap tourer, and one which is so easy to maintain even *I* could do a full service, with minimum tools? Top stuff. And nowhere near as cheaply built as the POS VT/NTV that followed it.
