Wicked Uncle Nigel - 06 Aug 2007 17:10 GMT ...about scratching the GTR any more.
Because it's just been Fiat Puntod.
Filtering past stationary traffic, and matey decides to lurch out sans indicator, looking, or brain. As I was alongside him.
His offside[1] front wing made contact with my nearside[1] pannier, scuffing it. And stoving the wing in.
Through a feat of enormous skill and blind luck I stayed on the bike.
Luckily the guy in the Tuffnells truck that I'd just passed stopped, called the driver an effing muppet, and gave me his details. I do like friendly witnesses. Thanks mate!
Aunty Carole has been informed, and we'll see what matey's got to say when I find out what a repair will cost.
