checking BMI I would be 26.something. Apparently this is "overweight". To be
in the green I need to be 11.5 stone! no_f.cking_way. Simple BMI seems to
be a rather f.cked concept anyway.

It is - since it just measures weight and not what the weight consists
of. And muscle is more dense than fat (and hence weighs more) which
means the musclely types will show up much worse on the BMI charts than
people like me who have never seen the inside of a weight room in their
lives..
Fortunetly I'm somehow in the green range in the BMI charts (6 foot
tall and 12 1/2 stone) so I don't get whinged at by the diabetic nurse
or the arthritis specialist (who also thinks that the BMI charts are
useless!).
