Given the apparent tariff atm
http://www.guardian.co.uk/crime/article/0,,2155269,00.html
http://www.guardian.co.uk/crime/article/0,,2155429,00.html
and the fact that in this case nobody was actually harmed, a ukp10

"The chances that a person will be able to control a vehicle at that speed
if something unexpected happens is slim."

WTF does 'something unexpected' mean? You were expecting sunshine but it
turned out to be cloudy? Or a sattelite landed in the road in front of you?

A rabbit running out in the road, a bird hitting your shoulder, a car
pulling out to overtake, there are lots of unexpected situations.

Admittedly if a bird hit your shoulder while you were driving a car, that
would be something seriously unexpected.

Unexpected in that you were concentrating on driving and so answered her

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember raden <raden@kateda.org> saying
something like:

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.
