Same error message. Bizarre.

Anyway, did a search and found it.

Answer: it's an utter, utter steal.

Odd.

I wonder if you have to be registered with Autotrader for it to work.

Nope

I was going to suggest a Mac thing but Mark seems to be using Microsoft via
the same ISP as me.

No, it just worked for me and I'm definitely not registered with
Autotrader.

I think it's a drug dealer thing.  A junkie can always score.

I don't think thats the problem - once you do a search on autotrader
the link works.  Presumably the search page sets a cookie.  If said
cookie does not exist a direct link to the page does not work.  Once
you do a search then click on the link, it works.  Perhaps Timo had
used Autotrader recently?  A quick check in Firefox shows 8 cookies
for autotrader domains, some set with a long expiry (2020).

Well yes, for an 83bhp 907ie engine that can barely crack 110. The K1200
should make it feel like a moped. Nice handling though in an old fashioned
way I expect (not ridden one tho).

Dodgy alternators on these IIRC or it may be the same rectifier wiring
issues as the 916, or both. The alternator was uprated on the last bikes.  A
3 phase replacement is something under £200 plus the rectifier/regulator.

As Tog says though it is plenty cheap, about a grand less than an ST4, but
that is about all they fetch (very few buyers). You can sell almost anything
clean and running for a grand.

My 750SS cracks 125mph on about 15bhp less.....

I think it's the reg/rec. But they upgraded the unit in (IIRC) 1997-98,
so it should be OK.

Which is my point. I can't think of a better way of spending £1000, or
in this case, £1250.

What else does that buy you? A slightly dodgy 600 Bandit. A decent 750
Zephyr. A nice Honda CB500 twin.
