I don't know how English V5's work, would it still show up after another owner is added?
Hype about "Police maintained" is also bollocks. They don't take particularly good care of their vehicles.

They are very hard to sell, best thing to do is buy a white one, put all the reflective sh.t back on it, get one of those very gay fluoro jackets from HG & watch the traffic move over right f.cking quick.
You'll also get there alive, as you've been seen & the bike cost you f.ck all ;)
My top tip.

Nige - 29 Nov 2007 20:05 GMT >> They are very hard to sell... > > Out of interest, why are they so hard to sell? Cos the rozzers really don't look after anything, I know plenty of them & they chop the sh.t out of fairings & that. They may service them, but it will have been f.cking hammered from cold, dropped & god knows what.
I saw a plod on the M1 today, wobbling like a spastic on acid, it looked pretty bad. Don't know what the bloke was doing, but it was a Pan! He was only doing 50mph tops though.
I would buy one, cheap as sh.t. Drop it - so what?

A few years on, I'm kind of wishing I'd bought it off you, as I'm increasingly finding the VFR uncomfortable due to my mashed up knees.

I love the 1100 LT, it's just ace for hitting the road, i could do with a slightly higher seat for it, but it's bloody comfy.

Yeah I'm not sure you rode it once it was sorted with proper suspension (Ohlins) and all the rest? if it was it was indeed the nicest K I've been on. Wonder if Shane still runs it.

The Piaa spots, white paint and reflective stripes worked wonders on the roads, too.

You'll find most of the accessories wiring will still be in there, but it's all NATO standard colouring, which means it is difficult to follow without a comprehensive wiring diagram.
