If you are still interested in doing Hartland Quay, the date is 6th
April. Normally I would still be in France for Easter, but as the lad is
doing a BRYCS round on the 5th we will back in time.

I haven't done it for years but I could be persuaded.

BTW a complete hill climb newcomer on a ZX10R did it in under 30 seconds
last October. FTD was 22.95 on an SXV550 (this years champion). A Harley
did it in 26.98 so your target on the KTM would be to get under 28 I
reckon.

I'll have  a think about it and see when the major outages start for
BE.

I certainly fancy the idea but setting time targets is not a good
idea, I'll concentrate on just not crashing.

Indeed. To get a time you have to get to the top. Having said that, when
I parted company with the 250 SWM at Hartland in '83 it was apparently
unclear whether it was me or the bike that went through the finish
lights first.
