Right, I;ve buggerred about bleeding the linked brakes on the blackbird for
long enough [1]
so I've admitted defeat and booked it in to Portsmouth Honda in 2 weeks
time.
So unless someone can someone can some up with 'another way' thats where its
heading
(especially as its only £ 25 labour)
[1] front is fine and dandy, but the 2nd master cylinder that controls the
rear from the front is
proving a right PITA.

Not specific to this bike but a couple of tips that might help:
- wind a couple turns of PTFE plumbers tape around the bleed screw to stop
air being sucked in around the thread, also helps to stop seizing.
- fill from the bleed screw using a large syringe (I get mine from the local
vet) with a short piece of rubber hose. Watch the level in the reservoir, to
make sure it doesn't overflow, and look at the run of the pipework to see if
tipping the bike would help bubbles find their way out.

This may well be right up the wrong track (f'narr) but I had a bit of
awkwardness with car brakes a few weeks ago. Is your 'Bird an ABS
model? Because if it is, you could try bleeding with the engine
running, as this gets the fluid through and the air out of the ABS
pump and circuitry, apparently. I raised an eyebrow too - but it
worked a treat on the car.
