Sold on Ebay, and now it won't start, will it? Not a bloody thing except
for the odd backfire. I didn't know strokers could go bang like that.
Fukkit. I've given the buyer his money back and I'll break it for parts.
Unless sweller wants it for £150?

Check the points, maybe worked loose. If that fails change the condenser.
Almost certainly an ignition problem of some kind, theres bugger all
else to go wrong.

Which would say to me that it's the first thing to swop, as it's the
least likely to fail

Gone in the huff, innit?

So'm I. I've asked sweller for the basic pilot and iggie timing
settings, and will have another bash. It has to be one or the other.

Have a good holiday - I've got the "Dog Kennel" all loaded up and ready to
roll, so the good folks down in Devon are about to have a visit ;-)

I'm no expert on MZs as I have only had one plus kept the apprentices
vaguely mobile.
Coil?
I know that Burwins always start by putting a better earth from engine
to frame.
Try the wires going in to the coil as they sometimes get bent at right
angles and then the strands slowly break inside the insulation, on the
Apprentices bike this had me stumped for nearly an hour.
Finally nip next door and ask if he is getting you back for all the
piss taking you did on the old knacker ETZ on his drive.
