Just finished on C4 and therefore starting at 8:30 on C4+1 , a very
interesting and entertaining musical travelogue up the length of the A1,
including a bike pub (missed the name).

Suggest watching with the subtitles on to catch the detail in the lyrics.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Dave Emerson"
<Dave_dot_Emerson@LineOne.net> saying something like:

That Rosemary Ford bint that Colin Irvine likes was born there. Last
time I was there on a bike was on Colin's old Thunderace, I stopped off
for a cuppa when I was riding home from buying it.

A full copy of this program is now available via UKNova but for those just
interested in the Elmet segment (less than 3 mins) I've put a file here
http://website.lineone.net/~dave.emerson/Elmet.avi

Does anyone recognise any of the bikes or bikers as regulars?

Thanks for wasting 2 bloody hours of my time!

Went to watch it on C4 website
http://www.channel4.com/video/brandless-catchup.jsp?vodBrand=a1-the-road-mu
sical

But!
Firefox needs Meeja Player plugin - download & install
Now it needs MeejaPlayer 11!
Try to download, but have to first install Win MCE2005 rollup update after
also installing validation sh.t.
Restart needed.
The MeejaPlayer player install stalled, so re-start needed & reinstall
Re-start needed!

Anyway, it was 'quite interesting' after all that.

Bloody hell, you must have the most out-of-date software known to man.
How many pieces of malware and spyware do you have?!

What?
I use Media Player on *very* rare occasions when I cannot avoid it -
usually to just rip & burn CDs
I have fully up to date AV & firewall, don't use Outlook or IE unless
unavoidable, and have had to many instances of Windows Updates f.ck ups
to just blindly install everything which comes along.

You had to install the wrap up - that's an ancient security patch.
