680 miles up through France in glorious sunshine, mile after mile of
wonderful empty autoroute.
Off the ferry, the M20 is down to two lanes, it's cold, dark, foggy,
the road surface is shite, the traffic is all over the shop, and
there's a 30 minute queue to get through the blackwall tunnel cos some
bloke's changing a lightbulb, or similar.
Lovely.

That's because none of the Froggies can afford the juice to travel.

They reckon that the SE of England is now one of the most over populated
parts of Europe.
England is already one of the most densely populated countries in the
world, let alone in Europe. It has nearly twice the population density
of Germany, four times that of France and 12 times that of the USA.

It'll get worse, unless you're lucky enough to be able to move to a less
populated part of the globe.

"People all move somewhere with jobs and money" shock. Seen how
crowded New York, Tokyo, London, etc are?

But less than that of Holland and Belgium, for instance.

No longer the case, I'm afraid.

My position was (and, to be honest, largely remains) one of complete ambiguity.
