Two different questions:

First:  which grease (brandname?) would you guys recommend for lubing
the clutch and brake levers?

Second:  I just got back from a trip where I clocked over 2,000 miles
in several days (my first long distance ride on the VStar), and I can
safely say that the stock saddle needs a lot of work in the long haul
comfort department.  Looking for a durable, comfortable, reasonably
priced aftermarket saddle - any recommendations?

In 20 years of riding, I don't remember ever lubing those things. But
that's just me.

I'm quite happy with my Pacific Coast Star "Original".
