After  getting my 2003 650 vstar out of winter storage, I had a gas leak due
to the carbs needing to be cleaned. Even though I drained the gas and did
the winter storage stuff.Had dealer clean it, worked fine. But now after
sitting for about 3 weeks, same problem. The bike started great, then 5
seconds later, started running rough and then I noticed gas coming out the
drain hose.Whats going on here?
Any help would great!
Erik
I do have the service manual.

You want to put stabiliser in your gas and run the bike for a few
klicks before storing it. Draining of the carbs when you have already
stabilised the gas is debatable.

stuck flaot. gently tap the float bowl with a rubber head
mallet. you want to vibrate it free, not whack it.
start using gas stabilizer. the gas today is sh.t and starts
breaking down in a very short period. stabilizer helps stop
that.
