Hi all,
Do any uk subscribers know were I can get a good quality full 2 -2 exhaust
system for my 1991 tdm? As I've just aquired it and want to get rid of the
obscenely loud single Remus can its got at the present time, and I need a
full system coz the previous owner welded the down pipes to the Remus
collector box. Plus I think 2 cans improve the look of a bike.

Hi SC

Got a 96 TDM myself - I got a full Nexxus system from Motad.  I think the
full system inc stainless downpipes and 2 (very smart) chrome silencers
retails for about £290.  I got lucky - they sell their factory seconds on
ebay so got mine for £205 with a couple of very minor dents.

Fitting was fairly easy - I had the most trouble getting the old one off, so
if you're really stuck I've got a full original system with one scratched
silencer  and one missing manifold collar sitting in my garage.

I think the Motad system fits both mk1 and mk2 machines.  The cans are much
longer than standard, and look great.

I'd recommend it - it's slightly noisier than standard, but in a nice way!
If you want a pic email me direct at me@danielcarway.freeserve.co.uk

Cheers
