adjust the float im not sure becuase when it runs it sounds too rich. then
when u take off the carb and u can sit there and dump gas out of the carb.

There's always gas in the float bowl and it will pour out when you take
the carb off.

Jets are easy to change and pretty cheap.

I had the same problem with my 75/76 DT250C.  Was fouling the
plug...all black and nasty and the bike smoked a lot.  Finally figured
out that the O Ring on the MAIN jet was too hard and letting gas thru.
Bike is now running like a bat outa Hell.  Suggest you change that O
Ring.  It's old and probably hard as Hell.

Right now I'm running a 140mm jet, but I'm at 8000 feet and usually
ride as high as 12000.

cheers
