Hi,

I just bought a well-cared for 1982 750 Virago and the seat won't come
off. I can turn the key about 3/16 of a turn, but the seat won't budge.
When the seller tried to remove it, he managed to get it loose, but it
wouldn't come off. I'm not sure what he may have done to put it back in
place, but now it simply will not move at all. Is there any trick to
removing the seat?

Thank you,
Brian

1986 Virago 1100, but same frame and such,  with the 86, to remove seat it's
an Allen key hex machine screw on either side, front of seat, undo and
remove, lift seat forward out of rear latching.

Thanks Mark. It's a bit different on the 1982 Viragos, but I finally
managed to remove the seat. The seller jammed it on incorrectly when he
reinstalled it.
