I just purchased a 95 FZR 600.  I thought I ordered the recommended
20W/40 but received 20W/50.  Any disadvantages to using the 20W/50?

Hi
20W/50 is ok for overhead valve engines,OHC bike engines need 10w/40 in
normal climates.
20W/50 is thicker at cold temps and the cams can be starved of oil on cold
starts.
Hope this helps
