Hey guys, do any of you know much about the 82-83 Suzuki gs650g.
anything i should look out for. on the surface it looks pretty clean
(its the same as this one) but haven't started or ridden it yet

According to today's Courier Mail we're finally getting LAMs (although the
660cc version; not the full-blown one)

Nothing else cheery to report.

So after successfully switching my tank, my next step is to transfer my tank
decal protector/sticker from my old tank to my new one.
What is the best way to get it to stick and stay on the new tank?

This one turned up a few days ago.

I've had 3 bikes in the 3 years of my riding life:
97 GPX250 - it had 20K on the clock when I got it - not ridden all that
regularly. It had about 48000 when I wrote it off <blush> several months
later.

This time the miserable bastards nicked my Honda tractor lawnmower 14
out of my 24 solar power system batteries, and numerous tools and
such.
I spent today chatting with the police and packing up what was left of

if a bunch of 40 somethings were going to meet in covent garden for
beer/food can anyone recommend a good starter watering hole ?
Will be a combination of soft southerners and northern monkeys so
quality beer varieties a must.

On my way to work today on the bike, as I approach the end of the
Bingley bypass coming the other way there's a bunch of retards dressed
like Pudsey bear getting a right f.cking from the Police. I went past &
the queue the idiots had caused was a stunning three f.cking miles on a ...

The mister and I are thinking of visiting Ireland next summer.  We found an
motorcycle rental outside of Dublin in Naas that rents almost any cycle for
110-190 Euros.  We were thinking of a week or so tour around the island
riding two-up.

If you spill Tabasco sauce on your fingers and don't wash them vigourously
afterwards, do NOT wipe the corner of your eye with one of said fingers 30
minutes later.  It smarts like a motherf..ker.

Leaving work to come home last night in the dark and pissing rain, it got
100 yards up the road and stopped - engine and lights failed at the same
time.  Got back to it this morning, changed the main fuse, and it started

It's probably a good thing I'm not exactly rich at the moment, as I suspect
the arrival of that would culminate with me being told to live in it.

I paid a visit on recommendation to BT & G Midson Polishers
and wow ! Ricardo is a genious of the polishing mop and loves to do stuff
while you wait (did 2 hefty pieces of stainless for me), they were quite
pitted and he wouldn't stop till they were right.

I am having a slight problem with the Bantam Sport D14S.
The exhaust turns down out of the cylinder then up, leaving a nice
sump into which unburnt fuel/oil/crap settles, blocking the pipe
and making it a pig to start if the fuel tap gets left on.

After unsuccessfully trying to work out why the fog lights on the BMW
aren't working, I found myself with an hour to spare (well, I either
spared the hour or would take most of the fairing off the RT - easy
choice).
