bush play? - forks, that is01 Aug 2005 00:17 GMT1
What type of fit should fork bushes be on a 1969 BSA B44 Victor
Special? I'd guess a sliding fit with something like 0.002" max play?
The reason I ask is I just got some new stanchions and bushes and there
must be at least 10 thou play there and it strikes me something's

I finally went and checked out the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 at the local dealer
and fell in love instantly, that bike is beatiful and the pictures on the
suzuki site don't do it any justice.
Low center of gravity, tall seat height, comfy riding position, i'll take

Big Ruckus31 Jul 2005 17:34 GMT42
Why would the owners manual stress that if riding above 6500 ft you
need to enrichen the mixture?  That goes against long standing
principles.  Is there some explanation?
1983 HONDA VF750 MAGNA QUESTION31 Jul 2005 14:47 GMT1
I just bought a non running 1983 Honda VF750 Magna.  my books
indicate that this engine has a top end oiling problem. Also, the book
told that some after market company makes an ‘add on’ oiling system.
Question 1.  It this only a high RPM oiling problem?

There I was riding another ride to see what matter of ride

What's the dilio?31 Jul 2005 00:50 GMT8
After not riding for some twenty odd years I'm trying to get those die

how to do it?  I don't think I'm getting too old to do this, could it be the

Can anyone give me some info on this bike. I just bought it off e-bay and I
know nothing about it other than it has 305 engine and this one is
beautiful. Any info, or leads to where I can find some info would be greatly
appreciated.

Can't get past freeway fear30 Jul 2005 16:31 GMT34
I ride about 130 miles a week to work and back and the occasional side
trip.  The side road I ride is 4 lane and reaches speeds of up to 70
mph.  I'm comfortable in that environment but when I hit the freeway,
it just scares the bejesus out of me.  I suddenly get a panic attack
Meramec Caverns Photos30 Jul 2005 16:03 GMT4
I have long thought of visiting Meramec Caverns because of their
ubiquitous advertising popular in my youth.  Here is a reconstruction
along Old US Route 66:

Bought the Virago30 Jul 2005 15:24 GMT40
Yesterday I bought a brand new 2004 Virago 250. The first 10 miles
convinced me that it's basically a scooter (that looks like a big bike),
which is about what a wanted: a scooter to get around town but with
enough power reserve to keep up with fast traffic when I have to.

OK, this may be interpreted as a blatant attempt at self promotion,
and you might be right. So flame the heck out of me. Tonight I don't
care.
Tonight we finally finished the United Way Day of Caring Project. I
