I just bought a Staintune bolt-on muffler replacement for my 929. The
bolts that were provided with it appear to be too long to attach it to
the stock exhaust system.
Has anyone else done this installation? Did you have a similar problem

I have a 86 Honda Magna VF700C with about 7000 miles on it. Here
recently, I have been noticing my bike runs hotter than normal. I
added a bypass switch in line of the cooling fan to switch the fan on
to help. What's funny  is when I am riding, I can turn the fan on and

I'm going to be in the market shortly for a complete set of
everything--jacket, boots, gloves, helmet, etc. for both the wife and
me.  I'm starting from scratch here--haven't been on a bike in about 15
years--and the technological changes are pretty impressive.

I can't imagine the impact it would take to damage the car that much would

  In restoring my bike I started with the goal of making it run and
ended up going a bit overboard, disassembling what a big part of it to
remove rust and give it a thorough cleaning.
  Both sides of the engine covers and the top parts of the mufflers

The later SV650S bikes (with the LCD speedo) can apparently be swapped
between miles and kilometers by pressing some combination of the buttons on
the speedo unit.  Does anyone know how to do this please?

I purchase an mini dirt bike for my son.  He's still learning how to
ride and the bike is too fast for him.  Can anyone point me to a speed
limiter I can install on the dirt bike to control his acceleration?

One of nmy son's best friends was killed on Hwy 99 in Delta over the
weekend.
All I can find out is that he hit a van from behind on his bike.
Do any of you know anything more than that?

My chain needs adjustment, my oil needs drained for
new, and my brakes don't do what they use to.
Besides all this, I'm sipping cheap beer and listening
to 70's bonnie raitt.

How do you clean the chain? Kerosine with a brush? Kerosine from a
spray bottle? WD-40? Commercial chain cleaner that comes in a can?

Today inadvertently I dumped some WD-40 on my front discs and drove away
without realizing that. My question is (since they are slipping a bit) may
there be some permanent damage or will it just wear off ?
