| Seat Modifications | 31 Jul 2006 21:32 GMT | 5 |
I have a 1980 Yamaha XS 400 Special. Its my old beauty. However, the seat is too stiff! I was hoping to get a few opinions on how I can skim down the seat to a slop per say, and recover. This way it is more contoured and comfy.

On my ride home from work today I saw this guy riding his Harley wearing a button down short sleeved shirt, braces, dockers, open toed sandles, and socks. At least he was wearing his helmet.

| What about a Triumph? | 31 Jul 2006 14:58 GMT | 9 |
All along I've thought my next scoot would be a Honda VTX, but I found myself looking at Triumphs on Ebay last night and liked the standard-bike styling of the Thunderbird and Legend. I don't know much about Brit bikes - how do the modern Triumphs hold up? What faults

I have a 1980 CM400T that is fairly new to me. This may seem like an odd question, but I can't find the answer anywhere, including in the owner's manual. Does this bike have lights for the speedometer and tachometer? I rode it at night for the first time and I couldn't see

| Opinions of Yamaha radian | 31 Jul 2006 04:28 GMT | 3 |
I have a chance to buy a low miles 1986 radian 600 tomorrow. Owner says it doesn't run. Besides replacing the tires and fluids do any of ya'll have experience with these bikes. Did they have any major flaws like excessive vibration or poor handling?

| I need advice please | 31 Jul 2006 03:23 GMT | 28 |
Although my father drives a Harley, I've never even driven a motorcycle before but I'm looking to buy one. I'm not interested in a Harley because they're just too expensive. I don't need to go 300 mph on some trendy Ninja. I'm just looking for a bike that is suitable for a

| Is there a mechanical reason why there are no automatic motorcycles? | 30 Jul 2006 17:13 GMT | 57 |
I'm not a rider but I've always wondered why there are no automatic bikes. Is it because it would make the engine/drive train too big? There are automatic scooters so could they do it for the smaller bikes,
