| Honda Transalp goes to 4k rpm by itself | 31 Jul 2007 13:41 GMT | 12 |
I noticed that sometimes my Transalp spins up to and stays at around 4000 rpm. That has happened both on first gear and on neutral as well. It looks like if i'm giving the bike gas (allthough i

| Nice ride today | 31 Jul 2007 10:05 GMT | 4 |
A little hot and sunny at 91-93F, but a nice small group of 4 riders - 2 hardcore and 2 wannabes with an eclectic mix of bikes - VTX1800, Kawa 1200 Sport Tourer of some kind, Goldwing, and a HD Ultra Classic.

| The Super Slab | 31 Jul 2007 07:45 GMT | 41 |
Imagine riding your scoot on a superhighway four football fields wide. This is the proposed NAFTA corridor to run from San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Winnipeg, Manitoba through Laredo and Kansas City.

I bought a V-Strom at the beginning of the month to replace my pink Vespa. There was an empty space in my garage. Here's what I found. Comparison: V-Strom DL1000K7 vs Harley Davidson 2000 Electra-Glide Classic

| 25mm Valve Shims Needed | 31 Jul 2007 01:28 GMT | 16 |
I am in the process of doing a valve adjustment on a Triumph 885 triple. I understand that all newer Triumph engines use the same valve shims, i.e. the 25mm diameter. I also understand that many Honda models use the 25mm shims. I have found online sites where I can get shims, but ...

| What might be wrong with this bike? | 30 Jul 2007 23:41 GMT | 11 |
From a For Sale ad for a 1984 Honda CX650E: "This bike was running like a charm till my son abruptly downshifted on Highway 1 and knocking engine sound since then."

| God I love this bike. | 30 Jul 2007 16:04 GMT | 13 |
