I elected to do an engine transplant on Geraldine, and, once parts arrived, I wound up putting the backup engine (older but a lot fewer miles) in on the hottest day of the year ... so far. I couldn't eat and zoned out in front of the TV with brandy and apple juice.

Have you ever experienced problems due to fact, that your bike is not liquid cooled? I'd like to buy v-Star as my beginner bike, but lack of liquid cooling somehow turning me off.
