Since there was a break in the crap weather, Thursday & Friday were
taken as riding days. The boss goes skiing, I go riding....seems fair to
me!?
I was off on the Aprilia by 9am after getting the kids to school. I was

Had both this weekend on my ride.  Thought about how bad life could get if I
had to lock up the bald crap tire that came with my most recent free

Question on anti-vibration hand grips for a sportbike07 Aug 2007 21:00 GMT17
1991 Kawasaki ZX600; son's bike. Has weighted grips - the kind that
screw ito the handlebars to  help dampen vibration.
I rode his bike for most of a poker run (while he rode my - someday
soon to be his - VTX) and the longer return trip home.

I had a dream [long] [far-fetched]07 Aug 2007 17:39 GMT9
Last night after viewing http://zeromotorcycles.com/
a site about electric motorcycles, I had a dream.
I was riding my Harley Ultra Classic up the main street
in town when suddenly I entered a blurry time portal.

I was making my return run from Truckee toward home (Sonoma, in Calif)

My uncle, Dick Anderson, worked at the Harley shop in Sacramento before

He is still alive in Santa Cruz and was one of the better motorcycle and

I'm not entirely sure what it's called in english but i
understand that one's supposed to break without the
actuall brakes being hit. It's due to the fact that
energy gets consumed to make the engine spin, i got
Eye protection - what do you use?07 Aug 2007 12:46 GMT34
Longer rides can be uncomfortable due to the goggles I wear; the stems
