I'm thinking about chenging my ride from '96 Transalp to '03 Varadero. Any spontanous thought? Something like "oh, man, don't do it", "you're going to regreet your balls off" is fine but primarely something more

Progressive Insurance Company raised my motorcycle insurance rates, sending me a notice of "Adverse Action," because there had been two credit inquiries on my credit report within the past 2 years. They said that credit inquiries "correlates" with higher risk for claims.

Anybody wear novelty helmets? You know, the kind that are not DOT or Snell rated? I know some riders who do, but those are the same guys who wouldn't wear a helmet if the law didn't require it. Like they say, a $10 helmet for a $10 head :)-

I'm shopping for an extra helmet, the flip up type (e.g. shoei multitec). Am I more likely to find a better deal on the web, or in local stores during the pre winter sale?

This might be a very stupid question. On my Transalp i've this grip heater with three positions marked. Those are "off", "start" and "on". What i wonder is how to operate it - maily, what's the difference

I recently started riding in to work now that I don't have to haul the kids to school. While the morning temps are a nice 75F degrees, the evening temps is around 100F. I'm not seeing too many other riders now... am I crazy to be riding now? The wind feels like a hair dryer in ...
