Harley-Davidson Crowd a Great Bunch30 Sep 2007 16:05 GMT1
I have to admit that the HD crowd is a great bunch of folks with a good
sense of legacy humour.  In this ad:

This is going to be a tight weekend.  Gotta come in and do work
tomorrow, after they reboot the systems at noon.  Meanwhile, I have a
new XM satellite radio to install on the Harley, new (well, used, but
new to me) Rizoma rearsets to install on the Monster, I have to put

My ancient air mattress finally gave up the ghost.
Last time I looked, I found I liked the air mattress
better than the current crop of self inflating pads.
Looking now, I see there are some air mattress
Who here has wrecked their bike?29 Sep 2007 23:01 GMT52
I'm not talking about driveway downs - we've all done that. I'm
talking about outright wrecks - you hit something, something hit you,
you lost control and went down without hitting anything, someone else
caused you to go down and you still didn't hit anything... and who

At first I thought this was funny...then I realized the awful truth of it.

I hope it rains/snow from now until spring.

top speed of 45mph. The other is 3 lanes either side of divided
How I rode.29 Sep 2007 06:03 GMT6
Rode in the 1950's  60's  and 70's. Put 22000 miles on a 1950 pan head in 18
months and then traded it in for a 1952 pan head. I wanted a hand clutch.
Now I only get to ride on trails when I can borrow my daughter in laws trail
bike. Would go in the summer evenings From Denver ...

If I recall correctly you used actual film to take pictures in Moab.
For some reason I think you may have caught me wallowing through a series of

You know we love our bikes28 Sep 2007 22:14 GMT15
I was once told that the first rule of riding a motorcycle is that

wondering if everyone's experience has been the same as mine in one
Avoid Road Rage. Read the Ten Courtesy Commandments.28 Sep 2007 20:46 GMT40
It takes about 15 seconds for most people to learn how to drive most
modern cars/trucks/SUVs. Most American Driver Education programs only
teach drivers how to pass the extremely inadequate DMV tests. The un-
intended consequence of these two statements is road rage. Sadly, most
