Looks like i may be able to afford a new motorcycle in the spring.  My
first new one ever!  $9G's is my self imposed limit and I'm looking
for recommendations.  I've had a v45 and a 1000 Virgo.  I like
cruisers so thats what I'm looking for.  Been looking at the Kawasaki

hear me out folks.  My son has a CRB 600.  He's been in Iraq the last
8 months, and my job has been to start his 600 every week.  Well, some
moron (me), left the ignition on after cutting off the motor... hours
later, dead battery.

For all you who have dual sport/dual purpose bikes, are they suited for
riding long distances?  I'm thinking that since my CB550 is so unreliable
I'd like to pick up a second bike - a dual purpose for more general riding
but I expect that I'll be riding about 300 miles a day when ...

 I currently have a Zeus 508 flipup that I bought about a year and a
half ago.  When I bought it I bought it off the web at a substantial
discount and I used a tape measure and a sizing guide.  It was a tight

Where do you all buy your tires?  I have a couple online places staked out,
but all things considered I would prefer shop locally, but to be honest I
can't find a place locally that has a large selection or that wouldn't order
them online themselves.  Are they not common enough ...
