| Polar Squid? | 23 Dec 2007 02:08 GMT | 27 |
Or Squidbergs? It was freezing cold here, last week (for LA). Yet, I saw several riders on sport bikes with shorts and t-shirts on. Eh? I had my woollies and heated gear on.

While buying DVDs of "Help" to give as Xmas gifts for customers, I came across a box set of the 1970's TV series, Kung Fu. I watched it until after 2am this morning and I have been watching it since I got up. I am addicted! In one episode he played with his father, John and a ...

| Ducati | 22 Dec 2007 23:51 GMT | 53 |
Test rode a new 2007 GT Classic and a Monster 1000, yesterday. I don't know what all the excitement is about Ducatis, except that the Desmodromic valves allow you to redline at about 9000 RPM without exploding the engine.. That was certainly interesting, for an air cooled ...

| No 1968 Norton Fastback for me | 22 Dec 2007 03:56 GMT | 15 |
I did some research on the particular motorcycle, we have a pretty tight community here. Unfortunately the seller turned out to be a gazlen. So, I bought a brand new Colt 45, 1911 Commander, instead.

| Unexpected Cold | 21 Dec 2007 21:56 GMT | 5 |
While there is no substitute for waterproof gear with electric underneath, these boons weren't available back when. Luckely, we had plenty of big slick news rags like 'Time' and 'Life' to stuff down our jackets and pants when it got cold/wet. Newspapers do well too and trash ...

| Got "opportunity" to practice picking up bike | 21 Dec 2007 03:39 GMT | 1 |
Coming into the garage after work tonight and somebody had placed a handtruck in where I park. As I'm stopped, the bike is leaning left and I lean right to move the handtruck. Over the bike goes. No biggie; I was stopped and the engine guard/kury pegs caught it on the front
