There's been a lot of Harley stuff (posts) lately where the usual
love/hate shines through. I've come to realise it's not just motorcycle
riders that the Harley image has been marketed to, but the whole
population. My mate was saying he has never had so many people say

Just got a call from my son saying that a friend of mine (and the
father of his best friend from kindergarten through high school) was
killed in a bike accident this evening. Apparently he survived long
enough to go into surgery but didn't make it.

Hey, it's working (somewhat).  Took it out for a quick spin around the block
and I survived, didn't have to push it back home, didn't run over small
animals.  Had to keep it in choke the whole ride, not what I was expecting
but perhaps this baby has ice in her veins.

I have owned several bikes including a 2000 Goldwing and now my 1986
Venture.
I have never considered owning a Harley mainly because they appear to shake
too much and I had a Volusia cruiser which had a lousy ride, poor wind

This thing is a blast to ride, but so far I've only taken it around
a blueberry field; it's not quite street legal (no lights or horn).
