Doing your own wrenching01 Apr 2008 00:13 GMT8
It is my opinion that the vast majority of MC owners use dealership or
and indie repair service for MC maintenance, even routine mtc like oil
changes.
Let me add that I am not comfortable with a wrench, especially when it

Crash Report, Lessons Learned; Allstate Insurance31 Mar 2008 16:46 GMT17
I don't post here often, so first let me give a bit of personal info:  59
yrs old; semi-retired industrial safety manager; owned a half-dozen metrics
over the years but bought my first Harley ('08 FXD) in July '07; currently
reside in southeast Louisiana.  Just a few days ago I ...
How big is big enough?31 Mar 2008 14:09 GMT35
I know I can get in deep sh*t asking a question like that here, but
the context is this...
Poker run sponsored by the local HD dealer; a ton of bikes, mostly
Harleys, making parking lot comparisons to my VTX very easy. In
Welcome back...  Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back....31 Mar 2008 04:23 GMT19
Humming the tune to "Welcome Back, Kotter," because my old friend, a
1999 Triumph 955i Speed Triple, has returned to the safe confines of
my garage.  My close friend and race partner, having bought a 2004
Suzuki GSXR1000 on which to thrill his significant other, decided that

Air cooled vs liquid cooled31 Mar 2008 01:49 GMT22
I saw a semi-recent Vulcan something-or-another. It was kind of cool
in a retro chopperesque, stepped king/queen seat kind of way, though I
believe the bike was only 5 or 6 years old. One thing that really
stood out was the fact that they didn't give the bike fake cooling
Been thinking about devolving30 Mar 2008 23:25 GMT37
Have any of you thought of or have actually downsized your bike? If
so, what did you move back to and are you satisfied?
I've thought about selling my bike; it's worth more than any car I own
other than my wife's. Get something smaller and cheaper... looked at
Recording a trip30 Mar 2008 18:50 GMT21
I see people recording their rides and wonder how they accomplish that
exactly.
I can see the camera well enough, a small web-cam would do fine, but what
are they doing, strapping a laptop to their bikes, using a PDA, or are they

Caught in my first snowstorm30 Mar 2008 08:20 GMT15
I got caught on the bike in my first snowstorm.  Wouldn't expect it to be a
problem in the last week of March, but we got about 4 inches while I was at
work.  Saw the snow piling up and decided to head for home early before it
got ugly on the roads.  Christ, I was flying blind ...
