Looking for dimensional diagrams of 2 stroke engines30 Apr 2009 21:21 GMT29
Preferrably with high reliability.
I'm interested in building a 2 stroke engine.  I saw some sand-casting
wooden molds on eBay a few months ago, so I'm looking for the dimensions
of those, enough detail to build one.
Wee-Strom Question30 Apr 2009 17:13 GMT59
Stopped by Nicholson Power Sports in Ann Arbor, MI.  Wanted to see an actual
Wee-Strom and sit on it.  Unfortunately, they had sold both of theirs, but
they had a Kawasaki Versys in the back room that they let me sit on (with
hopes of selling it to me, naturally).  Told the sales ...
A Question About Police Procedure ...30 Apr 2009 12:44 GMT28
Rode to the local bar a couple miles away, had one beer, rode back.
(Marshall, Michigan)
Wasn't concerned about a DUI or anything, as at my body mass one beer
wouldn't do it.

(I forgot to include my new friends)
This may have been missed because it was announced in one of the troll
posts. Try to post your entries in this thread so that more people
will see them and they can be better judged for originality.
Finish it29 Apr 2009 03:50 GMT3

Swine Flu Emergency!  (Yes, "Emergency!")28 Apr 2009 22:07 GMT31
Here it is:

I'm going to update my match.com profile to indicate I don't have swine flu
(as well as other diseases).
Yet More Wee-Strom Questions ...28 Apr 2009 21:59 GMT45
#1:  This year it comes in gray and orange.  Which is better for safety?
I'm thinking the orange would be better, but the gray seems to be actually
more reflective (i.e. technically lighter color).  Any scientific opinions?
#2:  What is the best luggage (I rarely carry a passenger, ...
If you don't care to read bike crash stats, move on...28 Apr 2009 20:38 GMT109
Saw some interesting (to me, at least) figures out from the Colorado
DOT in an AP article in this morning's paper.
Colorado saw a record number of motorcycle rider/passenger
fatalities in 2008: 98.  The previous record year was 2007
Buying an older scoot28 Apr 2009 17:27 GMT107
I'm going to look at an '85 Virago 1000 I found on Craigs, but don't
have much experience with older bikes. It's got 14k miles and has new
tires from last season. The seller told me it'll need front brake pads
and has some pitting in the chrome, but in the photos it looks pretty
Got Me a New Bike Engine28 Apr 2009 12:57 GMT35
It came with this frame too.  I rode it yesterday for about an hour.  It
did the job in 3 times less time than I did with my tractor.
