grease question30 Jun 2005 19:38 GMT8
I'm putting the cams back in my bike and the manual says to use molybdenum
disulfide grease on the journals.  The grease I have on hand is an all
purpose type stuff (bearings/axle etc).  It doesn't say exactly what it is.
Is this the same thing or is molybdenum disulfide some ...
Depositions require troys attention...motorcycle accident related...suggestions requested...30 Jun 2005 07:13 GMT12
I get back from vacation. I got 4 messages at the house from law firms, 3 at
the office. Turns out the sportbike accident I witnessed up close and
personal 4 years ago has reached the point where my deposition is required
prior to trial.

FZ-1, SV-1000...30 Jun 2005 00:39 GMT23
I know, totally different bikes.  I've been out of street biking for many
years and am thinking of getting back into it.
Some friends recommend the FZ-1. I believe they're dyed-in-the-wool Yamaha
guys and I'm sure that's a great bike.  I don't really like the looks of it.
05 Ninja oil change, is it hard?30 Jun 2005 00:24 GMT24
I am handy and regularly change my truck oil.
Just called shop and they want $70 for an oil change with filter.
Couple of questions:
1) Does Grease Monkey do bikes? If so, anyone done it?

Touring Florida (high speed/long distance) on an XB during the heat of summer28 Jun 2005 05:10 GMT8
I'm thinking of riding to Key West from Northern Alabama at the
beginning of August. I'm worried about being overheated. More
importantly I'm worried about my XB-12S getting overheated. I notice
when I ride on hot days here in AL at high speed down the highway my fan

$3000.00 for a brand new SV 650!27 Jun 2005 15:05 GMT5
Ace Honda here in Kenosha is selling these for $5900.00 and after 35
months they give you a $3000.00 rebate. They have this $3000.00 rebate
going on most all of their inventory.  I am not affiliated with Ace
Honda in any way.
I have REAL bad FORM.27 Jun 2005 05:54 GMT46
I finished my 4th track day on June 19th at Summit Point, on the Jefferson
Circiut. I was a little more relaxed and felt a little more confident since
my last trackday. However, I was noticing that when I went into the turns, I
was feeling I could go faster, but the way I was ...

Opinion on CBR1100XX 26 Jun 2005 17:47 GMT19

a few owners. I thought that this would be as good a place as anywhere.
I have a mate who used to have a CBR1000 circa mid 80's. He said that whilst
it was a pretty good bike, there was a very (very!) ...
